Mickey Moniak has a Fractured Hand

Well this is no good:
Mickey Moniak indeed has a fracture in his right hand, a source confirms. No further details. Was hit by a pitch yesterday. Initial x-rays were clean https://t.co/g0Ge52G0TQ

Stinks. He had a really good spring. Six home runs! He was one of the young guys who might turn a corner this season. Good scoop from Mike and Jim is always on top of the game with his info.
Bob Nightengale added this on Twitter:
Tough news for #Phillies CF Mickey Moniak, who is out for six weeks with a hairline fracture in his wrist. Their added offense this winter will come in handy.
This happened the other day. If you didn’t see it, here’s the sequence in question:

Hopefully this isn’t a bad boon on the eve of the opener. The Phillies are destined to rake this year, and injuries are the only thing that can slow them down.
