GOOD CONTENT ALERT.

97.5 had Arizona sports talk radio host John Gambadoro on today to speak about his report that the Lakers may have promised Josh Jackson, who they had in for a second workout this week. But it was his tidbit about Kyle Lowry, citing a good friend of his who’s now in Phoenix, not expecting a max contract from the Raptors but perhaps expecting one from the Sixers, that is the real news:

“I spoke with a player yesterday, who’s really good friends with Kyle Lowry, who said that Lowry doesn’t think that Toronto is going to offer him a max deal, so he’s thinking he could go to Philly, that Philly will offer him a max deal. And this was a really good friend of Kyle Lowry… so if that’s the case, then he’s gonna look to go somewhere else, and he’s mentioned Philly as a place where he could go. And he even said that he would be OK with Simmons bringing the ball up at times and they could work it together. And again this comes from a player in the league who is really good friends with Lowry and Lowry has been talking about going to Philly if he doesn’t get the max deal from Toronto, which he doesn’t think he’ll get.”

Bonus: Lowry could play with either Jackson or Monk. I’m wet.
