We Need More MLB Players Trolling Umpires With the Challenge Signal After Bad Calls
Last night Alec Bohm trolled home plate umpire Clint Vondrak with the ABS Challenge signal you saw in Spring Training this year after a bad call and of course he got upset:

Umpires are so soft. It’d be one thing if they owned up to their mistakes, but this thought that they’re completely infallible is where they lose me. You could see that ump losing his shit immediately saying something to Bohm. He must’ve been so angry Bohm apologized. Listen, the umpiring in this series has been shit. Obviously we all recall the JT Realmuto third strike that was six inches off the plate on Monday, but last night there was an equally terrible call while Jose Alvarado was on the mound.
This should’ve been the third strike, but instead Jung Hoo Lee slapped a single to make it 6-4 and put runners at first and third in the 8th with no outs:

This kind of stuff can’t happen. Not when you have the technology to fix it. I don’t understand people who think the umpires human error is good for the game. Nothing about an umpire making a bad call gets me giddy. Nothing about human error excites my plums. Imagine if you were doing your taxes and your accountant fucked them up and you got audited by the IRS. Oh shucks that’s just the price of doing business! Human error, amirite? No that’s why I use TurboTax, which helps me flounder through and push random buttons. Sure I still don’t know wtf is happening, but at least I know my trusty robot friend is going to hold my hand and lead the way.
All you have to do is watch this to make your blood boil so much you’ll start rooting for Elon Musk to fire up the production line on his alien cyborgs he wants to replace us with:
Umpires missed 1,121 calls during the first full week of the season including 44 blown strikeouts.

That last one should make you want robots tomorrow. Almost four inches off the strike zone and David Rackley is ringing him up. Are we serious? We have some games where 70+% of the calls are going against one team. People have money on this game. Guys have contracts and jobs they’re fighting for. If 16/22 calls went against a team playing against the Chiefs the public outcry would shut down the NFL until their was an investigation:
Umpire Mike Muchlinski missed a season high 22 calls and recorded a season's worst correct call rate of 85.4% in the Cardinals Angels game.

Instead we just let it go. Need more players taking a stand like Alec Bohm. It’s the most worthwhile thing he’s done in the box this year.
