Rap Sheet on a legal tampering Monday:

Dickerson tweeted a picture of himself with the words “extended” on the graphic and wrote “Not Going ANYWHERE!,” like Leo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street. The Eagles officially confirmed the news as well and put a writeup on the official website.

A no-brainer to extend Dickerson, who is going into his fourth season and already has two Pro Bowl nods. He turns 26 in September and was part of the early wave of Howie Roseman figuring out that you should just draft the best players from the best college football teams. Dickerson helps anchor an offensive line in a slight transition, with Jason Kelce retiring and Cam Jurgens sliding over to center. Lane Johnson is still playing at a very high level on the right side, though nearing the end of his career, but between Jurgens, Dickerson, and Jordan Mailata, that’s 3/5ths of the O line under the age of 26. Sua Opeta and Jack Driscoll are free agents who may be back as depth pieces, Opeta especially considering the need at right guard, but Tyler Steen is entering his sophomore season as well, and we’ll see if the Eagles have him pegged as a guard or tackle in the NFL.
