Jason Kelce Admits He Returned for Another Season Because of the Super Bowl Loss
If we can find one positive from the Super Bowl loss it’s that we get to spend more time with Jason Kelce. He mentioned that losing the game fueled that hunger and desire to return, via Sports Take with Rob Ellis and Derrick Gunn:
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say it –
I don’t think Jason Kelce retires after this season unless the Eagles win the Super Bowl. I think this dude is having so much fun with a young QB under center, a good team, and continuing to talk about the NFL with his brother every week. He can talk ball even if he’s retired, but I feel like he’s re-energized. He went through those four years post-Super Bowl where they couldn’t even win 10 games. He just got a taste of what it’s like to be at the top again and I feel like he’s addicted.
He’s also still in peak physical shape. You know how hard it is post-30 to chug a million beers? There wasn’t one second he didn’t have a beer in his hand on Wednesday. He must’ve chugged a million:

That’s a guy who can still play ball at an All-Pro level for a couple more years!
