Torey Krug Will Not Waive his No-Trade Clause
Torey Krug will not capitulate and waive his no-trade clause.
Ant’s thread:
of a deal for Kevin Hayes. Sounds like the Flyers may retain more salary than originally thought.
Briere will now consider other options involving Sanheim as he is on the hunt for another 1st rounder.
He wants enough draft capital to have more to offer a team in front of them…— Anthony SanFilippo (@AntSanPhilly) June 27, 2023
Primary target tomorrow night at the draft. Lastly, I’m told Briere has done a lot of due diligence and has several options on the table heading into tomorrow. The specifics of these are a little harder to come by as they are rooted in draft strategy and are a bit more…

It’s not like Briere has to choose one like ordering off a menu. When it’s decision time, he & his team could chose not to move if they feel staying out is in their best interest.
But, as of this moment (and things change quickly) Briere still wants more assets in the 2023 draft.— Anthony SanFilippo (@AntSanPhilly) June 27, 2023
Alright, so Danny B is gonna have to pivot. No big deal. Just do whatever it takes to get off the Kevin Hayes and Travis Sanheim contracts and continue this rebuild. Torey Krug can go pound sand and kick rocks in flyover country. He’s got every right in the world to not waive his no-trade clause, but would you want to stick around on a team that wanted to get rid of you? Makes you think!
When the Flyers win the Stanley Cup in 2026 and we look back at enemies of the rebuild, put Torey Krug at the top of the shit list. He’s the hockey Ric Bucher.
I'm ready to Trust The Process. The Knicks' process. Inducing young talent to lose year after year isn't a process, it's negligence. #76ers
