Cowboys Lose Randy Gregory in Amusing Fashion

Today the Cowboys announced the return of edge rusher Randy Gregory on a five-year contract, but surprise! – we have a plot twist! He’s actually not going back to Dallas. He’s going to Denver:

An embarrassment for the Cowboys. You hate to see it. They had it wrapped up and even announced it on their social channels, but Gregory pulled out at the last minute. According to Ian Rapoport, “Dallas insisted on contract that language that Gregory did not like, protecting themselves.”
So Gregory pulled a Frank Gore here. He’s out of the NFC East. Good stuff because he had 15.5 sacks over the last three seasons despite never playing a full schedule. Solid player who got himself on track after those substance-related suspensions. Dallas will have to go to plan B now, whatever that is.
Looks like Scooter Magruder here is gonna have to slap somebody:
If the Cowboys don't re-sign Randy Gregory I'm slapping somebody
