The Guy Who Allegedly Stole A.J. Brown's Car Was Apprehended Because He Parked it Near Police Officers
A.J. Brown’s car was stolen at 3 a.m. and then back in his possession by noon because the guy who allegedly took it parked it feet away from Camden County police outside a construction site. That’s according to Action News:
“The suspect, identified by police as 25-year-old Luis Segarra, made it very easy for officers. He parked the vehicle just feet away from where Camden County police officers were already stationed to monitor a local construction site.
Those officers were notified to be on the lookout for the vehicle, and quickly moved in.
“The suspect that was inside the vehicle, he fled. It was a short foot pursuit, but they were able to take custody of him on the 1500 block of Mt. Ephraim without incident,” said Camden County Police Dep. Chief Janell Simpson.”
Remember that show World’s Dumbest Criminals on truTV? We’ve got a new #1 contender, allegedly. The balls on this guy to park a stolen car feet from the cops. This guy had zero chance of getting away with it. Then to bring attention to yourself? You’d think you’d be trying to hide in plain sight. How many corner stores in Camden and you pick the one with the police outside? How good is this Papi store’s cheesesteaks? I might have to head over the river and check it out myself.
This looks like the most suspicious guy of all time:
You gotta love the corner store. Where else can you get two liters of Mountain Dew, a scratch off, and some socks?
Is that rubbing alcohol, too?
Of course Big Dom was on the scene immediately to help:
A.J. Brown has to be the most unsuspecting guy in the world to keep his $250,000 vehicle unlocked overnight.
