Everyone online is mad at this right now. Two consenting adults exchanging phone numbers mid-Braves broadcast:

Is it cringey? Sure. Is it an opportunity for people to take a stand like they’re doing online? Absolutely not. If the girl said no there would be a million girl boss’ in the comments ‘yas queening’ all over the joint. Who knows maybe she gave him a fake number, but we love a girlie who goes along with a bit. If anything I respect that woman a ton more. That’s a level of confidence many don’t have to go with the flow while you’re on live TV. Get her a job on a network stat. You can even hear her giving him shit in the background too.  I didn’t know Canadians had this kind of fire in their belly. She’s obviously a cool ass chick.

We’ve got reporters losing their minds over this:

So after the shot was over did this girl immediately file a harassment report with security? No. She sat around and they continued to talk:

Not everything has to be an essay on double standards. But if this was a woman she would be crucified on the Internet. Kind of like what is happening to this dude right now?

Young consenting adults exchange numbers should be the story here. You can have a debate on what is professional and unprofessional on a broadcast. Is making up reports of what coaches say coming out of the locker room like Charissa Thompson admitted to unprofessional? Personally I don’t think so. You’ve got a job to do and your boss wants a quote when they throw it down to you. You’ve gotta think on your feet if the coach didn’t want to talk or gave you nothing. Half of those interviews are all bullshit lip service anyway and Thompson has proved to be great at her job. The reporter/content creator line is becoming more blurred every day. We’re a week from a Florida reporter being chastised for rooting for the team during their run and “flirting” in the locker room:

Was that that bad? No. But don’t tell that to both sexes on the Internet piling on her in the comments.

I mean this guy is doing sideline work he’s not on the frontlines of Kyiv. Lets all relax and remember that the Braves still sit in last in the NL East.

P.S. The follow up tweet might be even smoother. You can’t deny this guy has game:
