If You Want to Feel Old, Michael Vick Offered Donovan McNabb's Son a Football Scholarship
This is a week old but will make you feel much older:

McNabb Jr. is a receiver out of Brophy Prep in Phoenix, class of 2027. He’s a three-star recruit with other offers from Arizona, Northern Arizona, FAU, Iowa State, Syracuse, Minnesota, Sacramento State, Southern Miss, and Temple, according to 247 Sports. Could we see the younger McNabb on North Broad? Get K.C. Keeler out to Arizona with a large bag of cash!
Vick, by the way, hasn’t coached a game yet. He was named Norfolk State head coach in mid-December, a move that was clearly made in an effort to replicate the success of Deion Sanders and Eddie George at their respective HBCUs. Shortly after, Desean Jackson got the Delaware State job. If the former Birds can use their star power to land some big recruits, ala Travis Hunter, then the Spartans and Hornets are looking good.
I wrote this about the younger McNabb after he received his first offer:
They’ve got him listed as six feet tall, 170 pounds, so he’s DeVonta Smith’s current size but still in high school. I was Googling a bit about him and came across some desperate Syracuse fans hoping he follows in his father’s footsteps, but this ain’t 1998 and Paul Pasqualoni ain’t walking through that door. McNabb Jr. is better off going to an actual football school.
Interesting though that he’s playing receiver and not quarterback. Donovan Sr. could have taught him the art of the worm burner, aka that one pass per game that was thrown directly into the ground. Legendary! But Jr. does have some Eagles greats to look up to, guys that his dad threw the ball to. We’re talking T.O., Brian Westbrook, Brent Celek, D Jax, Kevin Curtis in the horrendous blue and yellow throwback uniforms, and Freddie Mitchell and his hands. He also wears #5, and as you know, #5 will always love you.
