There Will Be No Jalen Mills Reunion
The finger wag will be staying in New England:
Jalen Mills is re-signing with the #Patriots, sources tell @theScore.
The day after his official release, Mills accepts an offer to return. I’m also told he plans to go back to safety next season.
In 2020 w/the #Eagles, Mills had 74 tackles, 4 TFLs, 1.5 sacks and 1 INT at FS. pic.twitter.com/rYWRP38VH4

Apparently this is a one-year deal worth up to $6 million, according to Rap Sheet and others.
Some people suggested bringing Mills back to play safety. I honestly forgot about that one season, since it was 2020 and Doug was fired and Carson stunk and the entire thing was an abomination. I’m sure there was a terribly-timed finger wag in there somewhere. The Eagles were likely down by multiple scores and the opposing QB threw the ball 20 yards out of bounds and Mills then show boated afterward.
But he’s a Super Bowl champion with the Birds, so all optically-goofy celebrations are forgiven.
