Originally reported by Les Bowen – oh, the poetry of it all – and then confirmed by a source to NJ Advanced Media – “Jordan Matthews has been dealing with a hand injury over the past month.” So what did Chip Kelly have to say about this:
Chip's denial that Matthews "has" a hand injury is probably technically true. As I wrote, he HAD a hand injury that supposedly has healed.

Classic Chip squeeze-by. Answer the question with carefully chosen words, so that you aren’t actually answering the question, do not elaborate, and therefore raise new questions. His disdain for the media is obvious, but his potential command of semantics here is next-level coach speak. Or he’s just lying because he can.
When he's not writing about sports here or ranting about them on Twitter, Jim is probably watching X-Files on Netflix or drinking a beer somewhere. Jim has nothing against hockey, it's just not his style. He once met Duce Staley at a Sixers game.
